Tungum Tubing passed recent testing by Superlok Fittings with flying colours

Korean fittings manufacturer BMT offer the Superlok range of twin ferrule stainless steel fittings and they recently conducted a successful test using Tungum tube with their fittings. The 4 tests carried out were:

• Vibration test
  number of cycles 10,000,000, frequency 23.3 Hz (1400 RPM), amplitude 1.6mm
• Pressure pulsation test
  number of cycles 500,000, frequency 1.08Hz. Instantaneous pressure peak: 1.5 times working pressure
• Tube burst pressure test
  (the ½” x 0.065” Tungum tube burst at 1350 bar)
• Helium leak test

The Tungum tube and Superlok fittings combination passed all these tests.
